About Us
 

WOLF POINT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION: received it's federal charter in 1963 with charter #15375. The original Board of Directors had seven members, which remain true today. Credit unions are association of people, owned and democratically controlled by their members. Should they cease to be such, they cease to be credit unions. Purpose of this credit union is to promote thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity to accumulate their savings, and to create them a source of credit for provident or productive purposes. Our mission is: The WOLF POINT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is a not for profit, member owned financial organization. Our goal is to provide the best possible services to our members.

Eligibility:

FIELD OF MEMBERSHIP: The "field of membership" shall be limited to those having the following common bond. 1. Natural person members of the Farmers Union Lumber Company of Wolf Point, Montana and The Farmers Union Oil Company of Wolf Point, Montana, who qualify for membership in accordance with its constitution and by-laws as of the effective date of this charter and own at least one share of stock (minimum value of $25.00) in one of the above cooperatives; 2. Any personal who within the past 12 months has made purchases in the amount of at least $50 from one of the above cooperatives and, during that period has accumulated on the books of that cooperative patronage refunds toward the purchase of a share of stock in the cooperative; 3. Employees of the above cooperatives who work in Wolf Point, Montana; "Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; member of their immediate families; and organizations of such person."
